Harveys Sofas and Service Review

Last year (October 2019) we went into Harvey's (Wales) to chose some new sofas. Our old sofas were over 20 years old. And quite honestly discoloured and needed upgrading.

As soon as we saw the black charcoal sofas, we fell in love with them. Very stylish and super comfy. I loved the silver thin legs, and bolsters. Very me! You can really stetch out and snuggle up with a blanket on these sofas. Everyone comments on them when they walk in the house.

They really fit our quirky arty/musical family style.

The thing we loved about the Sales Person in Harveys is that we did not get pounced on by any Sales People. We got to have a good look at the sofa's and test them out before any staff came up to us. And when we were approached, a lovely, tall thin young man with dark hair smiled and politely asked if we were ok. He joked and made us feel very relaxed. We really enjoyed laughing and joking with him.

It is rare to come across such a relaxed and natural Sales Person like this one! Credit to Harveys.

As I don't drive I am pretty useless at remembering where we went to get the Sofas. But I think it was Camarthan. It was just before Christmas 2019. Around the 12 October.

I love whacky arty things!

Below you can see our daughters bedroom. We printed her amazing rabbit painting on a rug and blanket for her room. I think it looks totally awesome, and believe people will buy these as they are so beautiful and unique. I am going to see if I can sell these to save up for her A level Art Course.
Education is so damn expensive in the UK. Forget trying to get any Grants. This Country does not support the ARTS. I know, very sad indeed. The online A Level Art Course will cost £3000 for a year. But with this Coronavirus, I am not taking any chances. Our Melody has asthma and suffers with chest infections. So college is totally out of the question. Where there is a will there is a way.
I want to help our daughter succeed. And show this Country that yes ART MATTERS!

Watch this space. Our daughter is a gifted songwriter too.
Here are some of her original songs. Her Dad created the music:
